Description

Melanie is an old-fashioned wife, married to Linton, a wealthy but tight-fisted stockbroker with high hopes of becoming an important member of the local Conservative party. She believes that a wife should do all she possibly can for her husband, and is busily engaged in ironing his underwear when Daphne, their 17-year-old daughter, enters and takes her to task for her attitude.
