Willy the Wimp
By Anthony Browne.
Description
Illus. in full color. "This particular wimp is a chimp, making for riotous pictures as we see the preppy-looking Willy being hassled by a gang of apes and finding his salvation in a Charles Atlas-type ad featuring a muscle-bound gorilla. Willy sends away for the book and soon becomes monkey enough to take on the gang when they attack his heartthrob, Millie. Browne's skillfully executed artwork has a crisp, polished look. Delicious tongue-in-cheek humor."--Booklist. - from Amzon
